Museum exhibition
This winter, Luc Ming Yan holds his first solo Italian institutional exhibition, Luc Ming Yan. La tartaruga e il palombaro. Visioni tra natura e pittura a Palazzo dei Musei, curated by Alessandro Gazzotti at Palazzo dei Musei in Reggio Emilia. The show, accompanied by a text by Davide Ferri, consists of a large body of oil paintings of various sizes ranging from figurative subjects to strongly abstract compositions. The works, with their vivid and brilliant colours, are arranged in the rooms of the museum space in harmonious dialogue with the naturalistic collection, especially the imposing fossil of the whale Valentina.
