Museum exhibition
Servane Mary takes part in the group show Couch painting, exhibition organized by Sadie Laska and Tif Sigfrids. Couch Paintings includes a broad community of painters and features work that is primarily rectangular in format. A group of couches will be installed in the gallery, creating a space for people to convene and participate in the series of events happening over the course of the exhibition. Couches serve both practical and decorative functions, but they are also a generative place where we tap into our stream of consciousness, hang out with friends, and dream up our best ideas.
