As part of Singapore Art Week 2026, the Pierre Lorinet Collection is presenting Digging Stars, Ibrahim Mahama’s first solo exhibition in Southeast Asia! The solo show, organised by Art Outreach Singapore, presents a new series of fabric-based artworks, including collages, photographs and videos, which explore the material legacies of colonialism, post-colonialism and industrialisation in Ghana.
The exhibition continues the commitment of the Pierre Lorinet Collection to presenting thought-provoking contemporary art to audiences in Singapore. Curator Edward Mitterrand has worked closely with artists and curators to realise each edition of the collection since its inception.
