Museum exhibition
Ibrahim Mahama takes part in the group show, L’opera aperta, curated by Eva Brioschi. In his works, the marks on the female arm are made for identification and security purposes, to trace the origin of the event death possibly. They are the same markings on the bags and serve the same purpose. Thus the two materials, sacks and leather, tell of the exploitation of work and the value of goods, including humans.
