Sonia Boyce presents Transform, a new work that stems from a wider body of film and photographic documentation created over two days at the Queens Museum in October 2025, where the artist will hold a solo exhibition entitled Demonstrate, scheduled to run from 27 June 2026 to 31 January 2027.
Amongst the compiled fragments of kaleidoscopic choreography, June’s Midnight Moment ‘Transform’ meditates on the interplay between the physical and spiritual realms. These gestures come from a live Andean Animal Movements workshop led by a collaborator and performer who represents indigenous creatures that are important in ancestral Andean cosmology.
The longest running and largest digital art program in the world, Midnight Moment is on view from 11:57pm-12:00am nightly across 100+ electronic billboards who partner with us to promote public art in Times Square all year long.
