Museum exhibition
In March 2027, Tate Britain will present a major exhibition dedicated to Sonia Boyce DBE RA. This landmark solo show, the first organised by the institution in her honour, will showcase over four decades of her work, featuring large-scale installations, photography, collage, drawing, film and sculpture. The exhibition will focus on Boyce’s collaborative and improvisational approach, exploring collective memory and the shifting boundaries between private and public experience.
Highlights will include the ‘Devotional’ series — Boyce’s living, ever-evolving archive, shaped by dialogue with the public — and the most extensive presentation to date of her early pastel drawings and collages.
Supported by Tate International Council, Tate Patrons and Tate Members.
